This document proposes amendments to several legislative acts, including the Civil and Tax Codes. It is also planned to rename the existing law "On Peasant (Farm) Economy" to "On Dykank and Family Farm Economy."
One of the main innovations is the introduction of two forms of farming:
- Dykank Economy — an independent legal entity based on the cooperation of two or more families who jointly engage in the production of agricultural products on land and property owned, used, or rented by them.
- Family Farm Economy — an individual based on the labor of one family engaged in agricultural production on their land share, rented plot, or household land.
The draft also states that the procedure for registering and establishing these forms will be determined by the Cabinet of Ministers. Members of the farms will own property under the right of joint ownership, unless otherwise provided by law or contract.
Furthermore, it is indicated that family farms engaged in agricultural production must register as individuals, and each member can freely leave the farm with their land share, creating a new family farm or joining a peasant farm.
If the draft law is adopted, it will come into force 10 days after its official publication, and the Cabinet of Ministers will be tasked with aligning its decisions with the new norms.
