The Ministry of Energy introduces a ban on dangerous autonomous sources
One of the most significant decisions was the introduction of a ban on the operation of autonomous electricity sources if their connection does not exclude the possibility of supplying voltage to external networks.
Such measures are aimed at preventing emergency situations, short circuits, and threats to workers on power lines.
Additionally, the Cabinet of Ministers has updated definitions and standards related to renewable energy sources and microgeneration, clarifying the status of electricity suppliers, the rules for accounting production and consumption, as well as equipment requirements.
All installations generating electricity from solar, wind, hydro, or biomass sources must be integrated into a centralized accounting and monitoring system. Commercial meters must record every unit of energy, including reverse feed into the grid.
The new rules apply to both households and enterprises using microgeneration. According to the document, suppliers are required to carry out calculations based on actual data on electricity consumption and production, as well as to provide accurate billing documents.
