Bakyt Torobaev checked the expansion of the poultry complex 'Agrokush'

Bakyt Torobaev, who holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, visited the branch of "Agrokush" in the Kemin district. During the visit, he got acquainted with the "Kemin" project, which represents a large-scale investment initiative in broiler poultry farming in Kyrgyzstan.

This project is the second phase of expanding production capacities in the Chui region. This year, it is planned to build two new sites for poultry breeding, each of which will include 12 poultry houses capable of accommodating up to 20,000 broilers.

In addition, construction is currently underway for a feed mill that will produce 30 tons of feed per hour. This will not only meet the company's needs but also supply feed to other poultry farms in the region. Furthermore, the project includes the establishment of a new hatchery that will be able to produce over 10 million chicks per year, as well as a warehouse for storing 3,300 tons of frozen meat.

With the commissioning of the new complex, the company's production volumes will increase by 29%, amounting to approximately 15,000 tons of poultry meat per year. The production of compound feeds will rise from 28,000 to 115,000 tons.

The implementation of this project will have a significant impact on local crop production: the company plans to purchase over 78,000 tons of corn and wheat from farmers annually. This will provide farmers with a stable market for their products and create new jobs in the region. The poultry cluster "Agrokush" ensures a complete cycle "from field to finished product," which significantly strengthens the food security of the country.
