One of the key innovations of this decree was the decision to allocate 350 hectares of land located in the city of Bishkek and the Alamedin district of the Chui region.
In addition, the decree includes the following important changes:
- Item 3 of the previous version of the document has been nullified;
- The goals of the cluster have been clarified, focusing on the development of agriculture through the implementation of innovative solutions and the use of advanced agro-technologies borrowed from international experience, including that of the Republic of Korea;
- The powers of the Bishkek city administration and the Alamedin district administration have been expanded, requiring them to ensure the transformation of land and facilitate the creation of production sites, as well as the necessary infrastructure — electricity, water supply, sewage, and access roads.
The new decree also emphasizes that the cluster will develop as a multifunctional site, including areas for processing agricultural products, greenhouse farms, "smart farms," as well as research and testing laboratories and infrastructure for storage and logistics.
The decree comes into effect 7 days after its official publication.
