According to him, these factors include a free currency regime, a unique transit potential associated with the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project, and significant tax incentives for technology companies.
“I believe that three main aspects distinguish Kyrgyzstan. First, the republic offers one of the most liberal currency regimes within the EAEU. Second, its transit potential is increasing as the country becomes an important transport and logistics hub. The construction project of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway significantly changes the country's status and attracts huge investments from China. The third factor is the tax incentives, which, for example, are offered by Central Asia Hub, similar to Russia's Skolkovo, as well as the overall tax policy of the country,” he noted.
Sobin also emphasized that this has attracted human capital and contributed to the influx of technology companies, which, in turn, has influenced additional investments.
