In 2025, Kyrgyzstan increased banana imports by 9%

According to information from the National Statistical Committee, in 2025, Kyrgyzstan increased its banana import volume by 9%. From January to December, the country imported 40,000 tons of this fruit worth $32 million, which is a significant increase compared to the previous year when 37,000 tons were imported for $27 million.
