The Turkic States Organization (TSO) is reaching a new level of economic cooperation
The 14th meeting of the ministers of economy and trade of the Turkic States Organization (TSO) took place in Turkestan.

Delegations from the participating countries, representing the ministers, gathered with the aim of strengthening economic interaction, developing trade relations, and promoting sustainable growth in the Turkic space, as reported by the organization's press service.

The Secretary-General of the TSO, Kubanychbek Omuraliev, noted in his speech that the region demonstrates stable rates of economic progress. He emphasized that an average growth of 6.86 percent is expected in the Turkic region by 2025, significantly exceeding global averages. Nevertheless, he called for intensified efforts to increase mutual trade volumes between the states.

During the meeting, delegates discussed current economic trends at both regional and global levels, as well as developed specific measures to strengthen trade within the TSO. The topics of improving the business climate and investment attractiveness, as well as developing transport and logistics connectivity, were also raised. Participants emphasized the importance of joint efforts to reduce trade barriers and support small and medium-sized enterprises.

Delegations confirmed their determination to deepen economic integration within the TSO and agreed to continue coordinating actions through relevant mechanisms for the practical implementation of common priorities.

As a result of the meeting, a communiqué, a memorandum of understanding in the field of trade, and strategically important documents were signed, including a roadmap for cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, investment, and finance, as well as the concept of the TSO Trade Nexus forum.
