Expert proposed ways to stabilize meat prices in Kyrgyzstan

An independent expert, Tynchtyk Altymyshev, in the broadcast of the program "Elden Sobol" of the news agency "Kabar," proposed his ideas for stabilizing meat prices in Kyrgyzstan.
He noted that simply demanding a reduction in prices is incorrect, as such actions devalue the efforts and costs of farmers.
“To reduce the price of meat, a comprehensive approach is necessary. It is important to consider all aspects, such as veterinary care, epizootic research, the feed industry, and pasture conditions. For example, in Kazakhstan, the 'Kazakhstan-2050' program is being implemented, within which the state provides subsidies to agrarians of up to 70%. Special attention is given to the meat cluster. I saw a Kazakh farmer who had 14,000 heads of Angus cattle. The state covers 70% of his loan expenses, including costs for feed and livestock acquisition. Thanks to this, Kazakhstan has achieved food independence in the meat industry,” emphasized Altymyshev.
