Daniyar Amangeldiev urged not to exceed authority during price monitoring
He noted that the issue of the pricing situation had previously been addressed at a Cabinet meeting.
“It is necessary to establish close cooperation between local authorities and the Antimonopoly Service specifically in the markets,” he emphasized.
Amangeldiev also highlighted that it is important to avoid exceeding authority during monitoring activities.
“The joint work of local authorities and the antimonopoly committee in the markets is extremely important. I have addressed the head of the department and the relevant services. The Prosecutor's Office raises the issue that during monitoring or inspections, there may be an abuse of power and the issuance of directives. If necessary, it may be possible to issue a presidential decree or a government resolution. However, inspections must be conducted correctly, without excessive actions, and explanatory work must be carried out,” noted the First Deputy Chairman.
He also reported that the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, instructed the Ministry of Agriculture, together with the Agroprodcorporation and the Ministry of Finance, to consider the possibility of importing meat from Belarus or Russia to stabilize prices.
“If we take such serious measures in a timely and coordinated manner, the situation will remain stable overall. The key is to avoid uncoordinated and unsystematic decisions,” he added.
In addition, he emphasized the importance of considering the opinions of the older generation and utilizing their experience; however, the main task remains ensuring sustainable development in the region.
