As the minister noted, farmers are actively engaged in growing and harvesting crops but face a lack of appropriate storage conditions. Existing warehouses often do not meet necessary standards, and the absence of refrigeration units leads to rapid spoilage of products — often within 10 days after harvesting.
"In this regard, the government has already allocated financial resources for the development of the necessary infrastructure. In particular, farmers receive support in preparing projects and creating business plans," he emphasized.
In addition, funding for the construction of warehouses, refrigeration units, and logistics centers is provided through banks at an annual interest rate of 6%.
Torobaev also reported that in the next two to three months, a new project is planned to be launched, which involves allocating additional funds for the construction of warehouses, processing enterprises, and small production workshops.
"Currently, a draft of the relevant resolution is being developed," the minister added.
He also noted that in the future, it is planned to ensure the availability of at least one warehouse or logistics center for every 500 hectares of agricultural land.
