According to information provided by the Rosselkhoznadzor, as of February 11, 2026, Kazakhstan has introduced temporary restrictions on the import of products from several regions of Russia. This decision was made by the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision.

The following territories are subject to restrictions: the North Caucasian Federal District, the Republics of Kalmykia, Buryatia, and Altai, as well as the Altai Krai, Omsk, Novosibirsk, and Astrakhan regions.

The list of goods prohibited for import and transit includes:

Agricultural animals and their genetic materials. Unprocessed thermal meat, milk, and products based on them. Raw materials and products of animal origin that have not undergone proper thermal processing. Trophies obtained from hunting. Equipment used for the maintenance, slaughter, and processing of animals.

Also banned are feeds and feed additives, except for plant products, goods produced through chemical or microbiological synthesis, as well as those that have been thermally processed at a temperature of no less than 70°C.

Participants in foreign economic activity should take these restrictions into account when planning the supply and transit of the specified goods to Kyrgyzstan. The situation is under the control of the relevant authorities.
