A meeting was held in the city of Osh
According to him, on February 17, during a meeting attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, the results of the Osh city hall's work for 2025 were discussed.
At this meeting, it was noted that the work of the city hall received an "excellent" rating. "The meeting was opened and closed by the mayor. At the end, we summarized the results, and the work of the city hall was rated highly. We also mentioned that the rumors about the mayor circulating on social media are not true. The mayor is actively working," Bolotbekov added.
Positive results of the city's economic development in 2025 were also announced at the meeting. The volume of industrial production amounted to 13 billion soms, and the physical volume index reached 127%. During this period, several large production and logistics facilities were put into operation.
The revenue part of the city budget, including official transfers and assets, amounted to 9 billion 691 million soms. Investments in the construction and development of municipal markets exceeded 3 billion soms. To date, 4,200 trading places are functioning in the markets, and the total number of trading places has reached 7,500.
In 2025, the city received 48 million dollars in foreign investments.
For the construction and repair of social and communal facilities, 1 billion 808 million soms were allocated (334 million from the local budget, 474 million from the republican budget, 100 million from the Stabilization Fund, and 900 million from the republican budget).
More than 4 billion soms were directed towards improving road infrastructure, constructing social facilities, and strengthening the material and technical base of budgetary institutions.
New construction was completed on 82 facilities, and major repairs and reconstruction were carried out on 43 facilities.
Repair work was conducted on 81 streets and road sections, where asphalt was laid on 106 kilometers of roads and 25 kilometers of sidewalks.
Within the framework of mortgage and shared housing construction programs, housing was provided for hundreds of families, including 302 families under the city hall's mortgage program.
To ensure uninterrupted water supply to the population, a reservoir with a capacity of 21,000 cubic meters was put into operation, with water supplied from 14 wells.
The implementation of a project for the construction of a solid waste recycling plant and electricity generation began, with a total investment of 95 million dollars.
As part of greening and landscaping, about 10 new parks and squares were built, and the central squares and recreation areas were completely renovated. Four monuments symbolizing international friendship and beautifying the city were installed.
A municipal night shelter for 45 people was opened on Alymbek-atka Street for citizens in difficult life situations, as well as a night shelter for 50 people. A temporary heating point was organized at the social institution "Boorukerdik."
Five schools and a dormitory for 500 places were put into operation, additional buildings are being constructed at 4 schools, and major repairs have been completed at 7 schools.
In the field of preschool education, the construction of 5 kindergartens has begun, of which 3 have already been put into operation, and construction continues at 2 facilities.
In the Ak-Tilek microdistrict, the construction of an additional building for a clinical hospital with 300 beds is underway, with about 90% of the work completed, and completion is planned for March 2026.
