Kyrgyzstan Has the Highest Growth Rate in Egg Production in the EAEU
According to preliminary data from the Eurasian Economic Commission, the volume of livestock and poultry production for slaughter in Kyrgyzstan in 2025 amounted to 476.1 thousand tons, which is 3.6% higher than the figures for the previous year. This value is significantly higher than the average growth in the EAEU, which was only 0.2%.
Milk production in the republic reached 1,881.5 thousand tons, which is 3.2% more compared to 2024. In comparison, the overall growth in milk production across the EAEU was 1.7%.
The most noticeable growth was recorded in poultry farming: Kyrgyzstan produced 938.4 million eggs, which corresponds to an increase of 18.7% compared to the previous year. This growth rate is one of the highest in the EAEU and significantly exceeds the average indicator for the union (+4.5%). In 2025, egg production growth was observed in all EAEU countries.
The total volume of production of major livestock products in the EAEU in 2025 amounted to: 21,391.3 thousand tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter (+0.2%), 49,602.3 thousand tons of milk (+1.7%), and 58,788.8 million eggs (+4.5%).
