Recently, a meeting took place to discuss issues related to expanding investment and trade cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Italy. The event was attended by Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Agency, the Deputy Ambassador of Italy to Kyrgyzstan, and a representative of the Agency for the Promotion and Internationalization of Italian Companies.
During the discussions, information was presented about the institutional and regulatory reforms being carried out in Kyrgyzstan aimed at improving the investment climate. Mechanisms of state support for investors were also considered, with an emphasis on key projects in areas such as energy, industry, agriculture, and infrastructure.
Kyrgyzstan emphasizes the importance of developing relations with Italy and welcomes the influx of foreign investments. Ravshanbek Sabirov noted that the country provides reliable protection of investors' rights and state guarantees in accordance with international obligations and legislation. Kyrgyzstan is open to long-term strategic partners and is ready to create the most comfortable conditions for doing business.
The inclusion of Kyrgyzstan in the list of 15 priority countries for Italy underscores the high level of trust and strategic interest in deepening bilateral cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further strengthen the partnership and implement joint initiatives.
