- According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture, protocols have already been signed with China for the supply of 15 types of agricultural products, and an increase in this number is expected soon due to new agreements.

At present, Kyrgyzstan has the opportunity to export 17 types of agricultural products. Exports are carried out to various countries, with 462 enterprises supplying products to the EAEU states, 37 to China, 53 to Uzbekistan, 12 to Turkey, and 68 to the United Kingdom. Notably, about 75% of the country's total exports consist of agricultural products.

Furthermore, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Kyrgyzstan has received permission to export domestic honey to the markets of the European Union.

The ministry notes that to increase the export of leguminous crops, special attention must be paid to the quality of the products. "Currently, there are systemic problems in the industry related to the processes of cleaning products from impurities, sorting, and achieving export standards. In several countries, these processes are organized at the state level and are economically viable, whereas in Kyrgyzstan, this area remains underdeveloped," the Ministry of Agriculture's report states.

The ministry also points out other existing problems, such as the use of leguminous crops primarily as animal feed and for educational institutions, which limits their export potential. When entering international markets, it is necessary to consider transportation costs and maintain competitive prices for products.

In light of the above, the Ministry of Agriculture emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive renewal of the industry, which includes the development of crop production, the proper selection of varieties, increasing yields, cooperation among producers, entering exchange platforms, and careful calculation of logistics costs.
