Agricultural Production in Kyrgyzstan Grew Slower than the Average Level of the EAEU in 2025
According to the Eurasian Economic Commission, this growth has been observed in all countries within the union.
In Kyrgyzstan, the agricultural production index in 2025 reached 102.2% relative to 2024, which signifies a growth of 2.2%. Although this figure is below the average level for the EAEU, it indicates a sustained positive trend for two consecutive years.
For comparison, the highest growth in agricultural production in 2025 was recorded in Kazakhstan, where it reached 105.9%, and in Armenia — 105.6%. In Russia, this index was 104.9%, and in Belarus — 100.2%.
It is worth noting that in 2024, Kyrgyzstan's agriculture demonstrated higher growth rates, with an index of 106.3% compared to 2023, indicating a slowdown in growth rates in 2025 against the backdrop of overall stabilization in the agricultural sector.
Overall, in the EAEU, the agricultural production index in 2024 was 99.3%. In 2025, the sector entered a confident phase of recovery.
