The main goal of this event was to thoroughly discuss preparations for the upcoming Meeting of Ministers and Agencies of SCO countries. Participants reviewed the draft agenda, agreed on the format of the event, and discussed organizational matters.
Special attention was given to mechanisms for coordinating actions to ensure phytosanitary safety in the region. Participants noted that establishing direct contacts between the quarantine services of the countries contributes to a more effective exchange of experiences and a quick response to emerging threats.
Holding such meetings within the framework of the SCO plays an important role in the development of regional cooperation. It not only facilitates interaction between various agencies but also contributes to the development of unified approaches to plant protection, which, in turn, positively affects the stability of the agricultural sector in all participating countries.
