The issues of simplifying money transfers between Russia and Kyrgyzstan are currently under discussion between the Central Bank of Russia and the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the Russian ambassador in Bishkek, Sergey Vakunov.

According to Vakunov, the creation of a sustainable financial system that will serve as the foundation for developing trade relations between the two countries is a key task of the joint activities of Russia and Kyrgyzstan. He also added that under the conditions of Western illegitimate financial and trade restrictions affecting both Russian and Kyrgyz companies, the need for such actions becomes particularly relevant.

Sergey Vakunov noted that there is currently an active dialogue between the financial authorities of the two countries, within which different models of cooperation are being explored and implemented.
