In 2025, 2,856 units of agricultural machinery were financed through leasing for 9.8 billion soms.
The Ministry also reports on the ongoing support measures, including a register of seed producers and a subsidy mechanism, for which 50 million soms are allocated annually. This allows farmers to purchase seeds with a discount of up to 30%.
In 2024, 2,794 farmers were able to receive 4.5 thousand tons of seeds.
Additionally, the export direction is actively developing: shipments of alfalfa seeds to Russia and pumpkin seeds to Japan have begun. Kyrgyzstan has been a member of the International Seed Testing Association since 2003, and in 2025, the country's central laboratory underwent its fifth accreditation.
According to the Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev, the global seed market is demonstrating stable growth. He emphasized that this sector in Kyrgyzstan is developing thanks to the implementation of modern technologies, a scientific approach, and the creation of integrated structures supported by the government.
