- The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission has approved amendments to the procedure concerning the import of products subject to mandatory conformity assessment on the customs territory of the EAEU.

Within the framework of the new document, the procedure for confirming compliance with technical regulatory measures for goods sent through "bonded" warehouses of electronic commerce operators intended for sale to individuals has been approved.

Specific conditions for the import of wheeled vehicles (chassis) as electronic commerce goods through "bonded" warehouses have also been introduced. Such goods can be imported and released into circulation without any restrictions only in Armenia, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan.

In Kazakhstan and Russia, the use of these vehicles is restricted: they can only be used for cargo and passenger transportation, as well as by individuals (for example, for personal trips) from other countries of the Union where these vehicles are registered.
The application of the new rules for the import of electronic commerce goods will begin upon the entry into force of the Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty on the Customs Code of the EAEU, signed on December 25, 2023, adopted on April 11, 2017 (expected by July 1, 2026).
