Officials and the World Bank Discussed Investor Rights Protection in Kyrgyzstan
According to the agency's press service, the participants reviewed key aspects of cooperation, including the creation of a modern legal framework for investments, mechanisms for protecting investor rights, and increasing predictability in regulation. International practices aimed at improving the investment climate were also discussed, as well as the development of state support tools such as stabilization and incentive measures.
During the discussion, issues related to optimizing investor interaction with government bodies, the significance of reducing administrative barriers, and the need to align the subordinate legal framework with state investment policy and international standards, including World Bank recommendations, were raised.
Ravshanbek Sabirov emphasized the importance of the World Bank's expert and advisory support in the process of reforming investment legislation.
