```html In Kyrgyzstan, miners consumed a significant amount of electricity, according to information provided by the Financial Market Regulation and Supervision Service.
In 2024, consumption amounted to 218.6 million kilowatt-hours, slightly higher compared to 213.3 million kilowatt-hours in the previous year.
It is noted that in the second half of 2025, the load on the energy system exceeded 20 million kilowatt-hours; however, in November it decreased to 5.7 million, and in December it fell to zero. The main reason for this decline was the suspension of mining farms during the winter period.
Currently, there are only two legal mining farms registered in the country — one in Kemin and the other at the Kambar-Ata HPP-2, which are under the control of government authorities.
According to last year's results, mining accounted for approximately 1.1 percent of total electricity consumption, and experts emphasize that this does not have a significant impact on the country's energy system.
Moreover, miners contributed over 206 million soms to the state budget in the form of taxes.
