It is important to note that according to current legislation, pension savings can be used not only upon reaching retirement age. Currently, citizens have the opportunity to direct funds towards mortgage repayment, including options that comply with Islamic financial principles, as well as for a down payment to participate in shared construction. Military personnel can apply for payments at the age of 63, provided they have work experience in the civilian sector and have made contributions to the Social Fund.
From now until February 2026, 829 citizens have received 135 million soms for treatment based on a special list of diseases. Additionally, heirs of deceased insured individuals are entitled to payments; according to the Social Fund, 12 thousand people have taken advantage of this opportunity, receiving a total of 368.9 million soms.
It should be emphasized that the majority of payments from pension savings are intended for individuals of retirement age.
