The Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, Bakyt Torobaev, stated at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh that the republic exports its agricultural products to more than 60 countries.
He noted that within the framework of the initiative to support the export of domestic products, protocols have already been signed with China for 15 types of goods. Soon, there are plans to expand this list by three more items. Additionally, there is an opportunity to export 17 types of products without the need for mandatory protocolization.
Torobaev added that 462 enterprises working with EAEU countries, 37 with China, 53 with Uzbekistan, 12 with Turkey, and 68 with the European Union have been included in the export registers. Thus, more than 60 types of goods are being sent to over 60 countries around the world.
The minister also emphasized that as a result of the department's efforts, official permission has been obtained to sell Kyrgyz honey in the European Union market.
