According to Kydyraliev, the minister replied that Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan provide assistance in the repair of hydraulic structures and dams.
However, the deputy noted that in the information space of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, the issue of water sales is raised in a completely different context.
“Some of my acquaintances from these countries contacted me and expressed their bewilderment regarding discussions about the sale of water. We are not even talking about selling,” he added.
Kydyraliev emphasized that such interpretations in the media of neighboring states create a distorted perception of Kyrgyzstan's position regarding transboundary water resources.
