The Ministry of Transport has simplified the permit acquisition process
The Ministry of Transport of Kyrgyzstan has announced a significant simplification of the procedure for obtaining permits for road freight transportation to China, according to information provided by the government.
Now, for freight carriers, the time required to process 'permits' has been reduced to just 10 minutes, which is significantly less than the previously required 24 hours.
These changes have become possible due to the introduction of the electronic e-Permit system for submitting applications and obtaining permits online, as well as the option for cashless payments through electronic wallets. Additionally, the interaction between government agencies has been improved through the "Tündük" platform.
It is worth noting that in 2025, Kyrgyzstan and China exchanged 130,000 forms of foreign permits for road freight transportation.
