The head of the tax service explained the changes in tax administration
Almambet Shykmamatov, chairman of the State Tax Service, emphasized that one of the main directions of reforms in 2025 will be a significant reorganization of the tax administration system. This was reported by the press service of the STS.
As Shykmamatov noted, the agency has deliberately abandoned the practice of excessive checks and pressure on business representatives.
According to him, "fear has never been and will never be a reliable source for replenishing the budget," which underscores the new approach to taxation.
He also added that in 2025, on-site inspections conducted by the central office of the STS will be completely eliminated, which significantly reduced corruption risks at this level. In addition, the procedures for appointing and conducting inspections in regional offices have been revised. Now the system is focused not on the number of inspections, but on their quality and justification.
