According to Nurbayev, key positions in the export market continue to be fruits and vegetables, beans, as well as berries, the areas for which have significantly increased over the past two years in the Chui, Osh, Jalal-Abad, Batken, Talas, and Issyk-Kul regions.
The head added that it is important for exporters to comply with the unified phytosanitary and quarantine standards of the EAEU, which apply to all types of goods—from seedlings to timber. Currently, the process of obtaining a phytosanitary certificate has become more accessible and is mainly carried out in a digital format through the "single window" system.
Nurbayev also noted that cases of goods being returned by the Rosselkhoznadzor in recent years have significantly decreased and were previously mainly related to errors in accompanying documentation and labeling.
