In 2025, a harvest of more than seven thousand tons of tropical fruits is expected
In the Batken region, modern agronomic technologies are actively being implemented for the cultivation of citrus plants. Specialists from the Kadamjai and Batken districts are engaged in the breeding of seedlings of mandarins, lemons, and oranges.
According to experts, successful experiments in growing tropical fruits in the region's conditions are already yielding results. If in 2023 the area under such crops was about 800 hectares, by 2025 it will increase to 1,052 hectares.
Last year, local farmers harvested 7,149 tons of tropical products.
This initiative aims to improve agricultural diversity and introduce modern agronomic solutions.
