More than 600 families in the village of Toru-Ayghyr have gained access to clean drinking water
In the Issyk-Kul region, in the village of Toru-Ayghyr, the construction of a modern water supply system has been completed, which was officially opened at a ceremonial event. This important social facility was implemented by the Department of Drinking Water Supply and Wastewater Management under the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan and aims to solve the long-standing problem of access to clean water for local residents.

More than 62 million soms from the republican budget were allocated for the project to reconstruct the system. As part of the work, over 15 kilometers of water supply networks were laid, and two large reinforced concrete reservoirs were built, each with a capacity of 300 cubic meters of water.

To ensure sanitary safety, a specialized building with modern equipment for water disinfection has been constructed in the village. In addition, the project takes into account safety aspects and rational resource use: 12 fire hydrants and 600 individual water meters have been installed throughout the area, allowing for precise monitoring of water consumption.

With the launch of the new system, more than 600 households have gained access to quality and safe drinking water. The relevant department emphasizes that the implementation of this infrastructure will significantly improve the living conditions and quality of life for local residents, as well as lay the foundations for future economic development in the region.
