According to Cabinet of Ministers Act No. 39, signed on January 30 by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev, the clause stating that JSC "Kylým Bank" acted as the central counterparty and national depository was removed from decree No. 807 dated December 26, 2024. This meant that the bank previously had the authority to conduct settlements and clearing, as well as to store and account for securities and assign identification codes for securities issued in Kyrgyzstan, and to carry out banking and other operations in accordance with the legislation of the republic.
