
In the Nookat district of the Osh region, a seminar was held organized by the Department of Agricultural Crop and Horticulture Expertise, where farmers and dehkans received knowledge about modern methods of tobacco cultivation.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, participants were provided with comprehensive information about new tobacco varieties, their cultivation conditions, and key technological aspects.
Among the participants were farmers, dehkans, and representatives of the agricultural sector.
During the seminar, farmers were offered seeds of the "Virginia" and "Dubek 44-07" varieties, as well as explanations about agronomic care methods and expected yield indicators.
The main goal of the seminar was to introduce modern agronomic approaches, which will help local farmers improve the quality and volume of produced goods by using new varieties.
At the end of the seminar, participants were able to ask questions and receive practical advice on tobacco cultivation. It is planned that such educational events will continue in the future, which will be an important step in the development of farmers' agronomic knowledge and agricultural production in the region.
