In five years, the volume of gas sales for transport in Kyrgyzstan has tripled
He noted that the company is contributing to the improvement of air quality in Bishkek.
Since the start of its operations, the volume of natural gas supplies to Kyrgyzstan has increased by almost 2.5 times — from 200 million to 550 million cubic meters by 2025. This means that about 350 million cubic meters of gas have replaced electric energy and coal.
In addition, the direction of compressed natural gas is actively developing. In cooperation with the city administration, a project is being implemented to introduce gas buses.
Over the past five years, the volume of compressed natural gas sales (used in cars and buses) has increased from 25 million cubic meters to 75 million, which corresponds to almost a threefold growth. This has likely contributed to the replacement of diesel minibuses and taxis with more environmentally friendly models, Aldayev noted.
Moreover, more than 50 private gas boiler houses have been built in new apartment buildings in Bishkek. This reduces the load on the centralized heating system, which has a positive impact on the city's ecology.
