According to the statement, this procurement is being carried out as part of the project "Technical Assistance for the Kambaratinskaya HPP-1 Project" and will be conducted using an unrestricted method with a two-package approach.
Applications for participation in the competition will be accepted until February 23, 2026. The conditions allow for the participation of qualified organizations that meet the requirements of the competition and the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Previously, the Ministry of Energy emphasized that this facility has strategic significance for Central Asia and has shown significant progress in both engineering aspects and attracting investments in 2025. Last year, a competition was held for updating the feasibility study (FS) that was developed in 2014. Currently, experts have already determined the type of dam for the future station.
