According to the report from the National Statistical Committee, by the end of 2025, there were 315 markets operating in Kyrgyzstan, of which 154 are mixed daily markets, as well as 95 shopping centers.

Market Structure


The total number of trading places in the markets is 83,416. Most of them are occupied by clothing (29,048 places) and mixed (23,892 places) markets.

Bishkek leads in the number of trading units, with 29,497 places — this is about 35% of the total number in the country. Chui region ranks second with 11,487 places.

Auto Parts Markets


In the field of automotive trade, there are 10 specialized markets offering 12,401 trading places. The majority of these are rented by individual entrepreneurs, occupying 5,846 places, while individuals occupy 6,533. Legal entities represent only one trading place throughout the republic.

As of the IV quarter of 2025, the total collection from the rental of trading places in this sector exceeded 163 million 231 thousand soms.

Shopping Centers


There are 95 shopping centers registered in the country with a total area of 472,608 square meters. Almost half of them (43 objects) are located in Bishkek. These centers have organized 7,957 trading places, of which 5,458 are rented by individual entrepreneurs.

Rental Prices


The average cost of renting one trading place across the republic is 182 soms per day. The highest rates are observed in Bishkek — 292 soms, while the lowest are in Issyk-Kul and Batken regions, where they are 73 and 77 soms, respectively.
