Over the year, the country earned 65 billion 231 million dollars

In 2025, Turkey demonstrated outstanding achievements in the field of tourism, as announced at a press conference in Istanbul. Turkey's Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy presented the official data on the results of the year.

According to the provided information, the country was visited by 64 million foreign tourists, and revenues from the tourism sector amounted to 65 billion 231 million US dollars, setting a historical record for Turkey.

Minister Ersoy noted that Turkey is confidently strengthening its position in the global tourism market. The strategic goal for 2026 has been set to achieve 68 billion US dollars in tourism revenues.

Furthermore, the minister emphasized that tourism in Turkey is no longer limited to traditional formats of "sea, sun, and beach." The country is actively developing cultural and religious tourism, ecological and nature tourism, archaeological routes, medical and thermal tourism, gastronomy, congress and exhibition activities, as well as cruise and winter tourism.

Successful projects such as "Heritage for the Future" and the initiative "Night Museums" have become examples of preserving and promoting cultural heritage on the international stage.

In 2025, the number of tourists from Kyrgyzstan visiting Turkey increased by 8% compared to 2024, totaling 199,280 people. This confirms the steady interest of Kyrgyz citizens in Turkey as one of the most attractive tourist destinations.
