"Such housing prices as in Bishkek are not even found in Turkey and Spain," - deputy
“Life has become difficult. On social media, people say: ‘There is life — you have to live,’ but how can you live when everything has become so expensive?” - expressed his concern the deputy.
Aliyev recalled how during his student years, people could go to Russia for six months, earn money, and buy an apartment in Bishkek.
“Today, even if migrants work almost their entire lives, they will not be able to afford to buy housing,” - he noted.
In his opinion, such apartment prices as in Bishkek are not found even in Istanbul or Spain, and are comparable to prices in Moscow.
“An apartment of the 104 series costs 100 thousand dollars. Can you somehow control the rental of housing? Students coming to the capital for studies face serious difficulties,” - he added.
In response to these statements, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev reported that the State Mortgage Company is making efforts to stabilize the situation.
“When we were studying, Bishkek had about 1 million residents, and now their number has increased to 2.5 million — this is a huge burden,” - he said.
The deputy, in turn, called for not mixing issues with the State Housing Fund and asked for a response regarding housing rentals. Amangeldiev replied that this issue should be considered in writing.
