Abakirov: Kyrgyzstan supports the integration of digital technologies in the region

25 years ago, the development of a digital ecosystem began in Kyrgyzstan, initiated by the first internet users and enthusiasts. Today, this initiative has grown into a significant movement for the entire region. This was announced by Aziz Abakirov, head of the High Technology Park of Kyrgyzstan, at the B5+1 forum.

“At a recent panel discussion dedicated to agriculture, our colleagues from Uzbekistan proposed the concept of One Central Asia. We fully support this idea. Central Asia should function as a single business and technological space. Our work includes collaboration with major international IT companies and the implementation of elements of artificial intelligence,” noted Abakirov.

He also highlighted the unique demographic advantage of the region, where about 80% of the population consists of young people. This makes Central Asia attractive for startups and international companies. According to him, the integration of technologies and joint initiatives open new horizons for business and strengthen ties between the countries of the region.

“Central Asia collaborates with everyone. We value initiatives and are ready to develop joint projects aimed at the common good,” added Abakirov.

It is worth noting that the B5+1 forum is taking place in Kyrgyzstan, gathering hundreds of participants from various Central Asian countries, including businessmen, representatives of government structures, and technology experts.
