The USA Confirms Support for Business and Peace in Central Asia — Sergio Gor
During the "B5+1" forum, the U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, Ambassador Sergio Gore, confirmed support for business and peace in Central Asia. According to him, President Donald Trump is committed to the peaceful and prosperous development of trade among the countries in the region.
Gore emphasized that since the historic summit that Trump organized for Armenia and Azerbaijan, the "corridor of prosperity and peace" continues to operate. This route will facilitate connections between Central Asia and the South Caucasus and further with the West and East, which is an important step towards interconnected economies and strengthening peace in the region.
He also noted that on November 6, 2025, Trump held a significant summit in Central Asia, which took place in Washington.
“The main idea is that this is not a one-time event. Trump expressed a desire to spend several days with the presidents of Central Asia, actively work with them, and integrate them into many aspects of the U.S. global agenda. In this context, it is worth mentioning that some leaders of these countries became part of the Council of Peace and were invited as observers to the G20 summit,” he added.
Gore stated that this is a level of cooperation with Central Asia that has not been seen before.
“The U.S. will continue to support business and peace, as well as strengthen ties with all partners. The B5+1 forum is a logical continuation of the C5+1 format, under which more than 20 agreements worth over $40 billion have been concluded,” he concluded.
