The "B5+1" forum became a platform where the First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev discussed the importance of SWIFT for the financial stability of Kyrgyzstan. He emphasized that the "B5+1" format offers opportunities for cooperation with the United States in the areas of standards, independent auditing, compliance, and international regulation.
Amangeldiev noted that Kyrgyzstan is open to dialogue and pilot projects with American regulators and technology partners. "We consider the development of correspondent relationships with American banks as a strategically important step for maintaining a stable dollar infrastructure and transactions through the SWIFT system in Central Asia," he added.
According to the Deputy Chairman, this issue has been raised before, but now Kyrgyzstan is striving to restart interactions based on clear rules, full transparency, and channels that meet the compliance requirements of the U.S. financial system.
Additionally, Amangeldiev reported on the creation of favorable conditions in the country for attracting qualified foreign specialists in the field of information technology. He mentioned the successful implementation of the "digital nomad" status available to U.S. citizens, as well as the development of the Creative Industries Park and the High-Tech Park, which significantly enhances Kyrgyzstan's investment attractiveness for IT businesses and innovative companies.
