Washington continues efforts to expand trade ties in a key region
A special envoy of the United States for South and Central Asia, Sergio Gor, arrives in Kyrgyzstan for an official four-day visit at the invitation of the country's government.
The press secretary of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Askat Alagozov, confirmed that a meeting between Gor and President Sadyr Japarov is scheduled as part of the visit.
The highlight of the visit will be the American diplomat's participation in the second dialogue forum "B5+1," which will focus on the theme "Promoting Economic Cooperation between the USA and Central Asia."
This event is scheduled for February 4-5 in Bishkek and aims to strengthen economic ties between the regions. This visit continues Washington's strategy to diversify trade relations in this important region for them.
