Currently, there are 485 processing enterprises and 40 trade-logistics centers operating in the country.
The following distribution of new facilities by region is planned:
- Jalal-Abad region — 64 processing enterprises and 7 trade-logistics centers;
- Osh region — 46 enterprises and 7 TLCs;
- Batken region — 29 enterprises and 10 TLCs;
- Talas region — 21 enterprises and 4 TLCs;
- Naryn region — 33 enterprises and 2 TLCs;
- Issyk-Kul region — 69 processing enterprises and 5 TLCs.
The distribution of agricultural enterprises is carried out taking into account local specializations and the needs of the regions for various products. This plan is designed for the next five years, with the aim of its implementation by 2030.
