Askaliev noted that after his appeal to the president, staff from the National Investment Agency contacted him and organized a meeting involving various ministries.
The meeting discussed possible support measures and tax incentives for the development of Kyrgyzstan's automotive industry.
According to the entrepreneur, with such preferences, locally produced products will be able to successfully compete with imported counterparts. He explained that his company had previously lost government tenders because the cost of domestic buses was 20–25 percent higher than that of foreign models. At the same time, "Beles" is ready to expand its product line to include not only buses but also trucks.
Askaliev also mentioned that the Bishkek city administration plans to purchase 600 buses this year; however, representatives of the municipality did not attend the meeting. He added that a commercial proposal had already been sent to the city administration, but no response had been received yet.

Currently, there are no official comments from the National Investment Agency and the relevant ministries regarding the outcomes of the meeting.
Previously, Askaliev expressed dissatisfaction with the failure of government agencies to fulfill promises made three years ago to purchase ten domestically produced buses for testing. He has repeatedly reached out to various departments but without success.
It should be noted that the factory producing 'Beles' buses was launched about three years ago, and the first sample was presented to the head of state.
In 2022–2023, the Bishkek city administration stated its readiness to consider the purchase of locally produced buses, provided that technical and commercial conditions were met; however, later the authorities explained that the choice fell on imported models due to requirements for supply volumes and technical specifications.
At the beginning of 2026, it was reported that the 'Beles' project was temporarily suspended for refinement and adaptation of the products to international standards, but the company emphasized that the project is not closed permanently.
