Kyrgyz honey will now be available on the European Union market thanks to the official permission granted by the European Commission. The product has been included in a special list of the EU technical regulation, indicating that the control and certification system in Kyrgyzstan meets strict European standards.
This decision is the result of many years of work by the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan to implement international standards. Previously, local producers faced serious difficulties due to stringent certification requirements, which made it impossible to export products to Europe.
Inclusion in the registry will significantly increase sales volumes and enhance the competitiveness of Kyrgyz honey on the international stage. The Ministry of Agriculture emphasized that they continue to work on promoting other types of products from Kyrgyzstan in the markets of European Union countries.
