The deputy criticized the price of diesel for farmers for spring fieldwork
However, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Shaiyrbek Tashiev criticized this decision, stating that such a price does not provide real support for farmers.
“This measure cannot be considered support, as diesel fuel is sold at a similar price at gas stations. Farmers can purchase fuel on their own at any gas station for their needs,” the deputy noted.
He suggested that there is a state company in Kyrgyzstan, "Kyrgyzneftegaz," which could directly supply cheaper fuel to farmers in the southern regions.
“Currently, diesel fuel costs them 68 soms per liter. You could require this company to sell fuel to farmers, as it is a state enterprise that extracts oil and refines it into fuel — this could become a privilege for our farmers,” Tashiev added.
Additionally, the deputy mentioned the company "Junda," which, according to him, can supply fuel to the northern regions of the republic.
“In the north of the country, the company 'Junda' produces fuel twice as much as 'Kyrgyzneftegaz.' This company could be required to supply fuel to farmers at lower prices,” he concluded.
In his opinion, the Ministry of Agriculture could enter into agreements with these companies to provide farmers with fuel at reduced prices during the spring fieldwork period.
