World gold prices reached a historic high. National Bank bars have become more expensive.

According to the latest data from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the price of gold has reached a record level of $5,514 per troy ounce. This price increase has also affected the cost of bullion bars offered by the National Bank.

The current prices for gold bars are:

1 g - 16,272 soms;
2 g - 31,267 soms;
5 g - 76,505 soms;
10 g - 150,128 soms;
ounce (31.1 g) - 466,231 soms;
100 g - 1,498,819 soms.

Compared to January 28, the buyback price has increased by the following amounts: 679 soms for 1 g, 1,358 soms for 2 g, 3,418 soms for 5 g, 6,835 soms for 10 g, 21,229 soms for an ounce, and 68,252 soms for 100 g.
