The deputy was outraged by the demand for proof of the origin of money in exchange offices.
At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Gulya Kozhokulova expressed her dissatisfaction with the requirement for exchange offices to provide certificates of the origin of funds for transactions over 100,000 soms.
She emphasized that such restrictions were introduced by the National Bank.
“I do not understand why the National Bank is establishing such bureaucratic obstacles? For many, the salary is 100,000 soms, and in the Ministry of Construction, incomes reach 500,000 soms. Why impose such restrictions? Why not transition to digital technologies? It turns out that people constantly need to go to banks and exchange points with documents? This is an incorrect attitude towards citizens, as well as towards small and medium-sized businesses. These issues need to be resolved,” she noted.
