According to experts from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, the foundation for achieving high productivity and quality in livestock production lies in a carefully balanced diet. Proper nutrition significantly affects milk yields and meat quality, providing livestock with all the necessary nutrients. The main components of the diet are roughage feeds, such as hay, silage, and straw, which are important sources of fiber and vitamins. In addition to these, it is advisable to use succulent feeds, such as pasture grasses and silage, which meet the animals' needs for proteins and roughage.

Concentrates, including grains, meal, and bran, play a key role in intensive livestock farming by supplying carbohydrates and proteins. It is also important not to forget about animal-origin feeds, such as fish meal and meat-and-bone meal, which enrich the diet with amino acids and minerals. Experts warn that a lack of protein can lead to weight loss and reduced productivity in livestock. Vitamin supplements and silage are essential for maintaining strong immunity and normal digestion.

The Ministry of Agriculture urges farmers and agricultural producers in the country to consider that the proper combination of all four types of feed contributes not only to improving animal health but also to enhancing the competitiveness of the final products. Investing in a quality diet is seen as a guarantee of sustainable income and successful development of agricultural enterprises in the future.
