During the meeting, an assessment was made of the work carried out in the district throughout 2025. Both the successes achieved in various areas and the problems requiring attention were discussed. In particular, positive results were noted in sectors such as industry, agriculture, investment attraction, and services, indicating stable growth in key sectors of the economy.
However, Tilek Tekebaev, the presidential envoy in the region, pointed out some shortcomings. In particular, he noted that the increase in tax and social security contribution arrears remains unexplained, and the control over this situation is insufficient.
Additionally, in the healthcare sector, a shortage of 33 doctors was recorded, along with an increase in infant mortality compared to the previous year, which raised serious concerns. Furthermore, the rise in emergencies, including fires, underscores the need for enhanced preventive measures.
In the educational sector, it was noted that the quality of knowledge remains at the same level. It is also important to pay attention to the development of infrastructure in tourist-attractive areas and to improve conditions for tourists.
As a result of the meeting, the presidential envoy instructed the leaders to address the identified shortcomings and to enhance the level of socio-economic development in 2026. Several leaders were ordered to implement disciplinary measures, including reprimands and warnings.
