On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the price of platinum futures reached a historic record, exceeding the mark of $2,900, according to trading data.
As of 13:44 Moscow time, the April 2026 platinum futures rose by 5.92% to $2,903.5 per troy ounce. At the same time, the March 2026 palladium futures increased by 6.38%, reaching $2,157.1 per troy ounce.
Historical highs were also recorded earlier for gold and silver futures, which exceeded $5,100 and $110 per troy ounce, respectively.
